sand river

195cmx130cm oil on canvas
August 2018

Over millions of years water wears away rock, carves deep gourges, grinds mountains into sand and washes it down to the sea. Sand sediment settles on ocean floor then tides and storms dump it on the coast creating dunes. This is like the cycle of life.

We are all part of the cycle, coming and going.

Life is a process and we are always in the right place, doing the right thing, at the right time.
