PARASOLES

This collection is inspired by my summer travels to two of my favourite beach retreats Playa es Cavallet in Ibiza & South Beach in Miami. Two contrasting destinations but both sharing the charm of their parasols ( parasoles in Spanish ) which gives them their unique identity. These paintings of landscapes intend to be fresh & youthful and a celebration of the so called "beach life".
I was inspired initially by David Hockney and his swimming pools and then by Juaquin Sorollas beach scenes. Artist from different periods in history but who heavily influence me.
