el indalo

I am fascinated with cave paintings and primitive art, these abstract paintings were produced after a visit to Almeria in the South of Spain, a region known for its symbol "El Indalo". This is one of the oldest known symbols in the world and dates back to more than 4000yrs.

Oil on canvas 114cmx162cm
