GREY MATTER

Belonging to my collection of paintings Geology on this occasion however I dived into the depths of our brain rather than the inner crust of our planet earth.  Rather than rock formations, this time I interpret grey matter both of which represent what we are made of.
Grey matter, lacks myelin and not able to quickly transmit nervous impulses. This feature is therefore associated with the function of processing information, that is, the function of reasoning. The amount of this substance is often considered directly proportional to the intelligence of a living being.
